Annika Seitz
Annika first found yoga in a book over 15 years ago. Since then she has had first hand experience of yoga’s ability to move one away from theory and into practice – both on the mat and in our lives. She trusts the creative, transformative and healing powers of the practice, and views yoga as a way of moving dynamically through life with refined awareness and a willingness to collaborate with the universe to create our most vibrant, truthful lives. Her teaching style is compassionate, playful and encouraging, and she draws on the principles of safe alignment and the spirit of creative flow to guide her students. Annika completed her 200-hour certification for teaching at Moksha Yoga Center. She is deeply inspired by the tantric tradition of Rod Stryker’s ParaYoga and continues to study with him. Among her other highly influential teachers are Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma), Kim Wilcox, Jim Bennitt and Daren Friesen, and she learns gratefully and immeasurably from so many other reflections of truth – fellow humans, art in its many forms, life experience and the natural world.
