We rarely take the time to rest and feel absolute silence without any distractions. To just be. We are too busy and too over-scheduled. And it feels as if our current culture—filled with noise, movement and ever-increasing speed and pressure—is demanding us to always be active and productive. A practice focused on deep silence—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—is needed now more than ever. Restorative Yoga utilizes a variety of props to support the body in quiet, restful positions of comfort and ease in order to facilitate deep silence. Come reconnect with Self and explore how it feels to do nothing. To just Be. No experience necessary. All levels welcome.

JoAnn Concialdi began practicing Yoga in 2004, when she was at a crossroads in her life and wanted to focus more on her self-development, growth and spirituality. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification through Gopi Om, earned RYT-200 credentials from the Yoga Alliance and is a certified Relax and Renew® Restorative Yoga Teacher through Judith Hanson Lasater. In her classes, expect a thoughtful, supportive, spiritual practice including meditation, chanting and breathwork, with a dash of playfulness and humor tossed in.

** Studio Cancellation Policy- Special events and workshops require a minimum number of students to attend in order to take place. If you are interested in a workshop, we encourage you to register early. We will notify you and issue a full refund 24-48 hours in advance if a workshop is canceled due to low registration. Thank you!
