Mom and Baby classes (6 weeks to crawling) are a fun way to reconnect with and nourish your body while building a unique bond with your new baby. Yoga Trek seeks to facilitate an understanding community of other new moms where you can bond over the joys and even the not-so-joyous aspects of new parenthood. Learn infant massage and baby soothing techniques, learn to incorporate your new bundle of love into your existing practice. You are more than welcome to bring extra blankets, stuffed animals, and your stroller into the studio during these classes.
Lauren Falasz found yoga after shattering her ankle in a car accident in 2006. After finally getting back on her feet, her surgeon suggested yoga as a way to restore strength and flexibility to her damaged ankle. She began to see that more than just exercises or stretches, yoga is a way of interacting with the world around us that promotes joy and non-harm. After practicing daily for years, she then completed her 200hr certification in 2012 and has since completed her 500hr training through Moksha Yoga and 85hr Prenatal Certification through the Amala School of Prenatal Yoga.
