Yoga for Cyclists Part 2: Balancing the Cyclist's Body through Hatha Yoga Practice

This workshop will feature an intermediate-level asana practice, followed by pranayama and meditation tailored to meet the needs of the urban cyclist. We'll follow with a discussion of the biomechanical and energetic considerations for the cycling yogi.

Upon completion, the student will be equipped to adjust their home practice to better complement their cycling. Appropriate for cyclists with some prior yoga experience, or adventurous beginners.

Kathleen found yoga in 2001. Since becoming an instructor in 2007 she has been fortunate to learn from so many teachers; from nationally known yogis Tias Little and Shiva Rea, to local senior teachers Gabriel Halpern, Jim Bennitt and Rich Logan. Today her teaching is based strongly in traditional Hatha style with a strong therapeutic influence, and she seeks to create a holistic practice oriented towards nourishing the body and spirit.
