with Iggy Ladden
Participants will progress through a gentle asana sequence to prepare the body for the meditation postures. From savasana (lying meditation) to padmasana (seated meditation), students will explore meditation from a deeply embodied place. When approached in this way, meditation is surprisingly comfortable and easy. Throughout class, we will continually anchor attention within the interior of the body, releasing tension and accessing ease. Students can expect to gain new insight into the related practices of yoga and meditation, and to leave class physically and psychologically rejuvenated.
