Yin Yoga

As with the teachings of the five elements and as with the ideology of yin and yang used in Chinese medicine, Yin yoga promotes energetic clearing of blockages and increases circulation. 

Explore the polarities of a whole. One can not live without the other; soft and hard, cold and warm, female and male, dark and light, all which bring us into a balanced being. 

These postures are held in a passive practice. You are encouraged to wear comfortable layers to encourage relaxation.

Tania Hughes is a practicing massage and craniosacral therapist who brings more than a decade of bodywork background to her yoga classroom. Join for an afternoon of deep therapeutic physical and spiritual practice.
