New Year 2016 Yoga Mala

with Rich Logan

New Years Day with Rich Logan!

Rich Logan will be teaching 108 sun salutes to bring in the New Year. We will start with a meditation of intention toward the year to come, some gentle warmups, then move into our mala moment (or hundred and eight for that matter). You are encouraged to rest as you need to or challenge yourself as appropriate. We will do some cool down poses to reset the nervous system and move into a long Savasana with guided meditation. To close we will chant together with some live guitar.

Rich Logan has traveled the world studying and teaching massage therapy, Yoga and playing Kirtan. He has presented at Wanderlust Chicago, teaching over a thousand students in Grant Park. He was also a featured yoga presenter at Bhakti fest Midwest in Madison. He continues to study at the Yoga Circle under the tutelage of the enigmatic and brilliant Gabriel Halpern in the Iyengar tradition. Rich promotes a mindful practice that focuses on bringing us to the edge of ‘experience’ to ‘witness’ the moment unfold and realize it is us who is the unfolding.
