Tea was originally discovered by Buddhist Monks in China who used it as a meditational aid nearly 6,000 years ago. Tea not only has the ability to create unique brain waves cerebrally but has been a medium for claiming the mind, body, spirit, and harmonizing the breath. We cordially invite you to a Wu Wo ceremony where you will learn how to use Tea as a meditation vehicle to further your practice. In it you will receive a Gaiwan and a Cha Hai which are ancient devices invented nearly 2,000 years ago in Tibet. There will also be a basic meditation practice, light yoga, and a guidance on how to brew tea with intention.
Join Veronica Rottmann and Jordan Scherer for a primordial session discovering the lost art, and ancient ritual of tea and meditation.
Yoga has been a part of my life since I was a small child, playing on the mat with my mother as she practiced. Without yoga I can say with certainty that I would not have the tools I need to navigate the ups and downs, rights and lefts and backs and forths of life. In addition to my daily practice I am continously pursuing my education as a student of yoga. I have completed several other trainings including but not limited to a teacher training intensive with Maty Ezraty and workshops with Noah Maze, Sara Strother, Janet Stone, Seane Corne, Kathryn Budug, Sianna Sherman, and more.
