Yoga Anatomy: Pelvis and Core

Yoga Anatomy of the Axial Skeleton: Part One with Nathan Paulus.

$75 for single workshop, $160 for all three

We will look at muscles of the pelvic floor up to the respiratory diaphragm and chest cavity. This is essentially the "core" of the body, making these structures all the more important to understand. We will study the anatomy in a functional and dynamic way, always doing poses that emphasize whatever muscle or group of muscles we are looking at. We will also look at how alignment affects stability and the difference between deep body support vs. superficial body support.

This workshop is in conjunction with Nature Yoga Teacher Training, so space is limited. Perfect for instructors looking to brush up on their anatomy skills as well as practitioners wanting to deepen their anatomical awareness and knowledge.

Nathan Paulus uses yoga as a method to improve the relationship with body awareness and intelligence; specifically, developing a stronger relationship to the intention of movement generated from within, while simultaneously listening to and refining the bodies response to the initial impulse. He works to wake up deep body sensing, and to strengthen will for meditation. He has extensive training and study in western anatomy and kinesiology, along with extensive study and practice in Chinese Medicine, and Tai Chi. Elements from all these realms influence the classes.

**Refund policy- In order to retain class credit, please cancel within 24 hours of workshop by emailing No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made the day of the workshop or for no shows.
