Family Yoga

Nature Yoga now offers Sunday afternoon family yoga with Marcelyn Cole every month.
By practicing yoga along with your children, you set a powerful, healthy example showing them that self-care is a priority. Everyone benefits from increased strength and balance in body and mind, as well as from simply gathering together to have fun. Shared activities enhance the bonds of family and community.

3:30-4:30pm, Ages 3-8: An imaginative exploration of yoga through play and stories
4:45-5:45pm, Ages 8-13: A fun and focused empowering yoga experience fostering self-awareness

Families are encouraged to attend the most age-appropriate session for their children. Family members of any age could attend either session, just know that the class will be specifically planned for and taught toward either the younger or older children. Children must be accompanied by parents.

Feeling generous? You can give the gift of yoga to a family in need by "paying it forward" when you register. Simply add another class to your order (and inform the front desk staff if you have done so online).

With clarity, compassion, and humor Marcelyn Cole makes yoga accessible to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. She has taught yoga in schools, kids' camp, art spaces, jail, health care centers, at city-sponsored events, and to individual private clients. Marcelyn's skillful sequencing and spirited style of instruction are informed by the Sri Vidya Tantric Yoga tradition as well as a broad range of education and experiences, including studies and work in Montessori and early childhood development.
