Beginning Yoga 4-Week Series


This one hour class introduces a new practitioner to the techniques and application of yoga. Taught at a slower pace with an emphasis on building strength and flexibility with proper alignment. An introduction to breathing exercises and meditation is incorporated as well. If you are curious about yoga, this is a great place for brand new students to start or to re-familiarize yourself with the practice, getting more information and an open floor for questions.

This series builds in information each week, revisiting poses learned the previous week and exploring the major movements of the spine and larger joints.

Students may also drop into class for $20 or use credits from a membership or package, pre-registration not required.

*This series will also be offered in October and November. Students can repeat the series as often as they would like, as each class will never be exactly the same. The series will provide students with the confidence to walk into other regularly scheduled Nature Yoga classes and students are encouraged to follow the series up with the “New Student Deal- $32 for 2-weeks unlimited”.

Emily Rezetko found yoga in college while studying dance performance and human physiology. She struggled with quieting the mind and letting go of physical and mental tension but once she began practicing regularly she found that her anxiety had reduced, an improvement in sleeping patterns and a stronger physical body. Eager to share this practice with others, Emily completed her teacher training at Nature Yoga in March of 2014 with Mark Lerro. She has completed further trainings in sequencing and anatomy with Rich Logan, Amber Cook and Diana Oppenheim, therapeutics with Gabriel Halpern, chair yoga with Jane Musgrave, Restorative yoga with Lisa Sandquist and Yoga Nidra with Mia Park. She strives to provide an accessible yoga practice for all levels and abilities through a creatively sequenced class. Emily has also been a manager of Nature Yoga since 2015.

** Studio Cancellation Policy- Special events and workshops require a minimum number of students to attend in order to take place. If you are interested in a workshop, we encourage you to register early. We will notify you and issue a full refund 24-48 hours in advance if a workshop is canceled due to low registration.
