Kristin is a life coach and yoga teacher. She aspires to help people create positive change in their lives, and believes that the tools of awareness and mindfulness gained through the practice of yoga are a huge part of this process.
In class, her students are guided to use the practice of yoga asana, pranayama, and present body awareness to move through a breath centered, vinyasa flow practice. The intention is around strengthening our relationship with ourselves by building a greater sense of awareness of our experience, and allowing our bodies to maintain or gently be guided back to the natural rhythms that support a healthy body. Her classes seek to find a balance between safe alignment, a physically challenging yet grounding practice, and allowing the body to intuitively and creatively express itself through movement. Kristin completed her 200 and 500 hour certification through Moksha Yoga Center, and has hundreds of hours of outside training under her belt.
She believes that the practice of yoga is a life long endeavor that can serve people in a myriad of ways, whether seeking to gain strength, flexibility, self-discovery, deepen spirituality, or for physical or emotional healing.
