Meghan Dunphy


Yoga has been much more than a workout to me since I first discovered its many benefits while completing my graduate degree in Physical Therapy. It was a time full of challenges and new adventures as I was transitioning away from my life as a student. I was busy with clinical internships and was faced with moving away from the city I had known as home for 6 years. As I settled in Chicago, I discovered Yogaview studio which felt like a second home and the practice I developed quickly became an integral part of my life. Through the breath work, meditation and asana practice, yoga provides me with a sense of strength, calmness and peace.

I decided to take my practice further in 2008 when I enrolled in Yogaview's Teacher Training Program/Practice Intensive, receiving my certification. I have been teaching yoga regularly ever since and my classes follow a Vinyassa Flow format in order to create a moving mediation that is both engaging and challenging.

I continue to enjoy my career as a Physical Therapist and believe that my experience in health care, along with my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Yoga training help me to provide a safe practice environment for students of all levels and capabilities.
